Welcome to the website of Prince Rupert's Blew Regiment of Foote. Ours is one of the oldest regiments in the Sealed Knot, the UK's premier re-enactment Society, and comes with a lot of history and tradition, both then and now. We pride ourselves in our appearance, drill and hard but fair fighting and are always on the lookout for new recruits to carry the fight to Parliament.
The regiment was formed in 1971 in the Blackheath area of South East London. Since then we have expanded and now have members throughout the UK.
The following pages contain all that you need to familiarise yourself with the regiment and the society. I hope you find our website informative and it encourages you to join, enabling you to wear the legendary bluecoat. If you do, you will be most welcome and I look forward to seeing you at one of our events soon.
For the King and his most gracious nephew Prince Rupert
